I most certainly agree with you on the hand. Without it, we would have seen an unbalanced toddler, deciding whether to stand or fall down. With the hand, we see someone who's ready to help, but is trying to let the child try things out. Sort of "being there behind the scenes", what parenting should be all about. The hand makes it a shot beyond "look at cute Rachel" (which isn't bad in itself), but a comment on growing up. Nice work!

Very nice shot of Rachel (and mum's hand :D ), I love the color your captured and the exposure is just right. Beautiful rendering of the light. Color looks wonderful as well, the richness of the grass without looking *phony* really adds to the shot.

You should be very pleased with this one...
