Can invitation cards be made on SmugMug for graduation parties? I know there are no graduation cards, so I was thinking of using a blank template, putting a photo in there, and adding my text. Just wondering if I'd be able to make something in about a 4x8 format, including the text that needs to be written. Does any body know how much 50 of them would cost?
Thanks.

You bet, see our blank 4x8 template, or just make your own, 2400px by 1200px document in photoshop :D

I hate coming back here and asking for help with something I know alot of other people are doing regularly with no problem, but I have no choice. My nephew's graduation party is next month, and I told my niece I would take care of the invitations. Andy told me to check out the blank templates to make my own. I looked and I tried, but I can't come up with something that will allow me to put a photo of him, and put the text in there for the invitation. I don't use Photoshop, so I can't make one on there and transport it over to SmugMug. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Signed,
What little credibility I have left could be gone if I don't produce these invitations.
Actually, it's the Shark.

Use any photo editing program. You just need something that allows you to place a text and graphics on a canvas.

If you don't have any photo software, you can download GIMP for free. It has more than enough capability.

When I click on the 4x8 cards and insert a photo, the photo is the only thing that is seen. There is no space for typing text in to tell people where and when the party is. I don't know what the heck I'm doing wrong.

Add the text using the Gimp, like John suggested. Or other photo editing (like even picasa, or heck, Picnik on SmugMug)

Well, I put together something using Picnick, which I never even knew existed until today. Looks like it can be made into a 4x8 photo/party invitation too, so I'll wait to see if my niece likes it, then take it from there.
Thanks guys.
