I let my SmugMug membership lapse because I had the need to share galleries of photos with completely different user groups, and I didn't want trackable links back to my home SmugMug account that I use for my family.
I renewed my SmugMug account tonight because someone let me know that galleries can now be shared with a pseudo link (i.e., http://smugmug.com/gallery/2504559_f3ta9.)
Well, maybe I've been gone too long, but I cannot even find a menu option to find a regular link for a gallery, let alone the option offered in the Help section:
Unlisted Galleries
Unlisted galleries aren't visible on your SmugMug homepage and aren't included in search engines. You can give your friends a direct link to find your gallery, like:
http://smugmug.com/gallery/2504559_f3ta9
I can open a gallery and find lots of options for sharing an individual photo, but still nothing for the link to a GALLERY.
I remember years ago on SmugMug, I could click a Share option, and then was asked: do you want to share this photo, this gallery, etc.
