I like it. It almost looks like a painting. All the green seems like it should be over powering, but it isn't. I feel the water leads me deeper into the image. Thanks.

Its nice but there is no real focal point. I know you have no control over the weather, but it would have been a winner if the water were calm and there was a good reflection.

Hi, Dwayne - This is a nice shot of a stream in the woods...But I am left asking myself why you shot it. I'm not trying to be sarcastic - I don't have to try to be sarcastic; I have to try to not be.:wink But seriously, this strikes me as one of those shots we all take - we see something that grabs us somewhere, and without really thinking about where we're being grabbed, why we're being grabbed, or what we want to say, we shoot. I think a good question in these cases is..."After I shoot this, what am I going to do with it?"
Best,
B. D.

Hi B. D.
I know your not trying to be sarcastic and I totally respect your comments
here B. D. ! It is a valid queston and good one at that. It kind of through
me for a loop lol. I guess the best way I can respond to your comments
is I guess we are all moved (inspired) by different things.
Kind of like an artist throwing a gallon of paint on a wall and
calling it art and are inspired by that, I don't get it but they sure do.
The same thing here, what you see as a nice typical stream shot
I see it as looking into nature's mirror at another world (abstract shapes, colors and light).
What I am going to do with it when I am done ? Take it as a building block
on to the next capture (practice). Thanks B. D. for your comments and
views on this one !
Take care,
Dwayne Oakes
