Last Friday I took a good friend back to the secret waterfall for her birthday. Another friend had turned me on to it the week end before (a previous post), but I didn't mind going back. It started raining like crazy when we got to the trail head, but we went anyway. It was warm, we had rain gear and I knew my camera would stay dry. It was a blast - we got soaked in the 1st 2 miles or so, but the rains let up just as we got to the waterfall. The sun wasn't out which made for better shooting. Here's a shot from a similar angle as in my previous post.

On the way back, we decided to investigate a 40' waterfall that we had passed on the way in. Trees and shrub just about completely close this waterfall in and a shot from the front was out of the question. Spray was heavy also. There was a small ledge area at the base of the falls, so we crawled back there to enjoy this falls.

I also have to chime in with appreciation for the second shot. I get pangs of envy when I see your shots...but I always have to look!
