The day after my trek up Dog Mountain (previous thread (http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=132484)), I decided on poking around Ruckel Creek after researching my options. Most people fixate on the many beautiful waterfalls in the area but I wanted to capture some images of the creeks (thanks in part to the work of some other regional photographers).
Sunny skies are great for wildflower photos but not so good for forest & stream scenes. Nonetheless, you take what you're given and make the best of it. I'd love to return on a cloudy or overcast day!
