If you don't find an individual to do it, I've had good experiences with this company. http://thelogocompany.net/

I've used them three times. Once for Reformation Journal (http://www.reformationjournal.com) and once for a church (http://www.sandyplainsarp.org), and of course, once for my photo site (http://www.paulsclicks.com).

The first logo they got exactly what I was looking for in about 2 revisions. The third time around it took more than 5, but you get unlimited revisions once you settle on a basic "concept."

I don't work for them, don't benefit from suggesting them, and don't know anyone who does. I've just been pleased with them in the past.

Not only do they design smug pages, they also can do logo design. He redid my site and I've been very pleased!
