So the window is cockeyed in relation to the wall because the bldg is sagging, but aside from that, I'd love some input about the crop. There is a little room on all sides in the original. I shot it wide with the intention of tinkering in post. Could I do something to make this comp stronger? Thanks for looking!

I think this is a very nicely exposed shot. The color, texture, and lighting are excellent. The only issue to me is that the bottom rows of windows are too dark and empty which is in non-beneficial contrast to the other "cells."
BTW, that's a fun place to shoot in Tacoma. The bridge is a photographer's dream, especially with no cars.

Thank you. I agree with you on the bottom row. I guess I could've ducked down lower when I shot it. I'm near there quite a bit, so is won't be a big deal to get back there. I have always loved shooting in Tacoma. Thanks again for looking.

hi. in terms of your ?? about the crop. I wonder how it would look if you added one more clapboard at the bottom and a little more on the L. I think you were working toward a 'high/off center' feel and it might add a bit more tension and interest if you took it up a notch.
thanks for the fun image. elizabeth

Aside from what has already been said,,,,,,,I really like the abstractness of each window pane,,,,,,,,for me the blank panes do not take away as black can be abstract also..........:thumb:thumb:thumb

I just looked at the raw image and I had a lot less wiggle room than I thought. I'll shoot wider next time.:D
