I captured these at the Shaw Nature Reserve on Wednesday afternoon. I didn't have a tripod, so these are all hand held. I don't know nuttin about flowers, so I'm not sure what kind of flowers they are. They just are.

1st and 4th pics look to be Crested Dwarf Iris.

2nd Looks like it MIGHT be in the Bergamont Family?

3rd Looks like a Red or Pink Turtlehead? (Not sure not fully bloom'd)

If I'm wrong least it gives ya a place to start Googl'in. :rolleyes :D

GREAT pics BTW! :thumb :thumb

You might know 'nuttin' about flowers but it is apparent you know a lot about photographing them! :D Number 1 is my fave! Very, nice!!!

Jeff that last shot really POPS :nod look at that background,
looks like a painting whereas the flower is so sharp and nicely detailed :clap

You sound like me, I only know the names of very few common flowers.

Nice work Jeff :thumb ..... Skippy :D

Thanks, everyone. I could have done a lot better if I had had my tripod. Next time. . . .
