Share photos by keyword

I have a suggestion to improve sharing photos. Usually I have some photos in all galleries that I want to share with some friends/family and not with anyone else. But it's not possible to do it currently through categories.

Let's say I want to share all my photos that contain "family" keyword with all my family and they are all over the place, but I don't want to share all photos in categories and subcategories with them -just those photos that contain keyword(s) that I specify to share. Later If I add any photos and I add "family" keyword to them, I don't have to do extra work to share them with my family and they will be automatically shared.

Now here's my beef with this approach. I can leave a gallery as private, but use sharegroup at the same time to share them with others and the URL to those sharegroups are hard to guess and close to private since nobody else can discover them. However with the approach you mentioned I have to make all my galleries public so that people can use keywords.

For someone who sells his photo, the above approach is perfect but for someone like me that keeps private albums and photos but want to share some of those pictures with others, this doesn't work.

I would imagine using idea of sharegroups but with keywords instead of categories makes it workable.

ANOTHER IDEA: I wonder when SmugMug implements the idea that facebook has which I can tag people or areas in pictures with mouse rollover feature. In that case I can easily tag pictures (which I totally miss in SmugMug) and use those tags to share pictures to people who are in those pictures. Now that would be COOL! :D
