First shot cull out - its not too bad but the second shot is better. You have no detail on the lower half of the heron's body. The colors are lifeless and washed out
Second shot - a keeper - the colors and detail are better. The background is nicely blurred. The eye is clear and sharp. You have good feather detail. This is a much stronger capture than the first.
You did pretty good on both shots considering the lousy light you had.

You did pretty good on both shots considering the lousy light you had.thank Harry would have big D them but worked on them for therapy .the dif in the two shots is distance and i tried to bring out detail in PS
