IPTC Location

It would be nice if the location data in the IPTC section could become searchable, either on its own or as an automagically created keyword. Maybe even as fuzzy map data. My photo database allows searching on IPTC fields, so I don't have to enter location keywords, but when I upload to SM, the location data is no longer exposed.

Clarification: I was not referring to the IPTC Core Location field, though that might also be of interest. Rather, I was hoping for capture of any or all of the following fields: City; State/Province; County; ISO Country Code. City and country would be great.
