Please consider reporting the current time in the "UTC" time zone on the Services Update Blog. With the current time, one can more easily calculate how long it has been since the last update.

I'm not sure I follow, could you elaborate?

I think he means display the current time as of viewing the page. Have it in the sidebar, header, or footer or something.
Then you can look at that time and compare it to the time on the last update to get a better understanding for how long its been since the last update was posted.

Um, doesn't your computer display the current time on your screen? :scratch

It usually does, in local. I think what we might be looking for is a "posted this long ago", to avoid doing timezone math. If the blog supports it, it's not a bad idea.

Um, yes the computer does display the current time, but in my time zone. Not everyone who uses smugmug is in the utc time zone or knows where that time zone is and how many hours different it is than there own.

Sorry I misunderstood. So what you really are asking is that the status shows the local time of the update. That might be a little tricky, though not impossible. What might be easier would be to show three time zones, say one in the US, one in Europe and one in Australia.
