basically they made cards with a 10$ code that they then give to client along with a link to where to buy them; it sounds like a great idea for generating extra print orders.

As a wedding photographer, I think this is a great idea. SmugMug does not have a feature so far where clients can enter a code to get their gallery...its either give them a private link to the gallery or have a public gallery with a password.

The wedding guests would punch in their code, see the gallery, get $10 in free prints, and wedding photos being an emotional purchase, would get more prints than just the free ones. A nice way to drive sales.

This would be much cleaner and allow me to generate more revenue. I vote this up!
