What do you think is the primary purpose for the lights? How will you be using them, and where will you be using them?

Main use will be for portraits. Typically one person sometimes a small group. They will be used mainly inside, possibly outside for fill lighting from time to time. I know I would need considerably more for covering a whole wedding reception (at least the last one I did). And to play with lighting. Possibly used in conjunction with my DG500 Super.

I recently asked similar question (http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=11771) at Dgrin.
I ended up with "one-light-stand" setup, which I plan eventually to expand to 4 lights one (2 fronts, 1 hair, 1 background)

I cannot overemphausize the simplicity and convenience (http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=13041) of the wireless setup.

Of course if you have a dedicated studio hotlights will be a cheaper and prolly more convenient solution, but if you think of any location work - this is the way to go.
As Shay pointed out - start with a working piece of of future good/ideal setup and enhance as as the time/buget allows.

I'm very glad I followed his advice!
