I think it would be nice if I could disable right clicks across all of my galleries, but when I'm logged in to my smugmug account I should be able to right click > save picture my own photos.
It would make my life a lot easier. Often I just need to grab one of my photos in one of the smugmug sizes, so I have to disable the right click, then save, then re-enable the right click guard.

Hey! I think you are overlooking the 'owner save' feature. Open a right click protected gallery, and hover your mouse over an image, so that you see the pop out bar (thumbs up/down etc). There is an owner save button that shows for logged in owners, even if your gallery is right click protected.
Give it a try! :wink

Yeah, I knew about that. but the problem is thats the full sized original shot.
Sometimes I just want to save one of the smaller sizes. For instance if I'm on my laptop and want to pull down a shot to throw up on Facebook. I would prefer to just be able to save the size appropriate for the service I am sending it to. It would save me extra steps of processing, especially when I'm on a computer that doesn't have Photoshop.
Plus I'm lazy ;)

It's also easy to construct any URL you want just by looking in the browser URL bar. For example, if you are viewing an image you want a link to the Large size of, here's how you would do it.
If the URL in the browser bar is this:
http://jfriend.smugmug.com/gallery/5608869_vwzCG#344291068_HdnTo
Then, you just remove the parts in red:
http://jfriend.smugmug.com/gallery/5608869_vwzCG#344291068_HdnTo
to get to this:
http://jfriend.smugmug.com/344291068_HdnTo
Then, add the parts in green:
http://jfriend.smugmug.com/photos/344291068_HdnTo
Then, add the suffix to specify the size you want:
http://jfriend.smugmug.com/photos/344291068_HdnTo-L.jpg
and you have a direct link to an image, even one that's protected.
You just go from this:
http://jfriend.smugmug.com/gallery/5608869_vwzCG#344291068_HdnTo
to this:
http://jfriend.smugmug.com/photos/344291068_HdnTo-L.jpg
