It's named "Acrylic" and combines pixel and vector graphic manipulation (PS and Illustrator). It can open Adobe formats, but can only save in it's own native format right now. Other caveats: high system requirements, slow speed. Pretty typical of a beta.
Personally, I don't think MS will successfully penetrate this market anytime soon. But it never stops them from trying...
