I haven't been to the whipping post in a while... I guess its time again for some more... thank you sir may I have another :)
I am trying to figure out my niche... and I keep getting drawn back to child photography...maybe simply because I have small children right now. This one was little "off topic" for me. I love the vibrant colors and the leafy curls... Thats just my eye... what does yours say??

Very nice photo. Some times in nature photography a subtle surprize will
show up and you will base your pp on that element to enhance it, more
so than the subject.
In this case the little surprize is the sky reflection on the back of the
ladybug. To enhance this little jem all you have to do is make a tighter
crop to bring the ladybug closer to the viewer so you can see it better.
good
-great vibrant colors
-exposure is right on
-good contrast and detail
nit
-subject is on center
-photo is to busy
-photo is noisy
-watermark needs more transparency
Here are the tweaks,
-cropped subject close to 1/3 rule
-cropped the photo tighter to get a better look at the reflection
-healed out the bottom right leaf and made homemade bokeh in that area
-put the photo through NR software, hope this helps
Take care,

wow... that looks great!!! I must say...some outstanding feedback too!! A few questions... what does "healed" mean.... are you referring to the heal button on PS? Did you simply click over the leaf until it muted off into the background?? I used the noise reduction that came with my raw software... I wonder if there was extra jpeg compression. what additional NR software did you use?
Thank you again for all of your help!!!!!!!!:thumb

No problem, I am glad I could help. Yep you are right about the term
"healed out" and the the process to blend into the background. I use
Noiseware Standard Edition NR software when needed.
