Any comments. I think the black and white makes for an errie tone to the picture.

I don't feel this works. It's definitely a colorful shot, but selective coloring is great to draw attention to a specific subject. Here, your subject must be the color because you've B&W'd your son so he no longer stands out.

I find most selective color shots don't work because the photog is using the effect for its own sake and doesn't really add anything to a photo. I know this because I fall into this same trap with IR all the time.

I'd like to see this shot in either all color, or just colorize your son and maybe the red bars (may be too much). I can see where the bright colors could detract from your subject so a selective color might work here.

Just my opinion, and we all know what opinions are:D.

Yep I think all children should be locked up till they're 25 years old then let loose on the world NOT! :rofl

That looks like a Circus Animal Cage he's in is it ?? :dunno
Quite an interesting effect you created there with selective colouring.
Good Job......... Skippy (Australia)

Thank you- That's what I was going for. He's 7 , so usually when I take his picture-he gives me a big toothy/unatural smile. Here he just happened to have almost a blank-expressionless look. That's why I like it.
