.png banner transparentcy issue

Hi,

My custom banner has transparent areas in it to let the background show through depending on the style. It is a .png file and is transparent where it is supposed to be on my computer.

But when I went to work and flaunt my website to my friends, the transparent parts show as white on my work computer, ruining the effect.

What is the problem? Any help?

P.S.: I tried all the code fixes in the main CUSTOMIZATION FAQ sticky. And it still doesn't appear right on my work computer, but it does on my home computer. Could it be one of those old version of IE issues?:scratch

From memory, old versions of IE don't support transparencies...
