Caught an interesting standoff, of sorts, today... under the bird feeder.

Misty (cat) and the squirrel are almost the same size, so neither are willing to attack.
Misty is more of a feathered huntress anyhow.

Want to sleep... Need to watch...

Can not turn my back... Must eat...

All of the sudden there's a commotion! Someone new shows on scene!

What's going on here?

There's something in the tree!!!

Ok, that's it... I'm outta here!!!

Something was here. I can smell it!!!

And, from her garden vantage point, she saw it all!!!

That all happened so fast! So tiring... gotta take a nap...

This took all of 2 or 3 min... There's some to say for being in the right place at the right time!

I've got all 3 types of the same furry friends in my backyard too and it's so much fun watching them interact :D
