A storm was approaching so the sun was hiding and I wanted to test my new Tamron 75-300mm for portrait use (blurred background). I had to b/w all of them because the oldest had on a bright flourescent shirt, ouch!

I LOVE the first one!!! Perfect you nailed it! The second photo the focus seems off. The third is an awesome capture of emotion but seems a tad soft. Great work!

Thanks everyone! I've been working with my new alien bee and softlighter this weekend. Will post some results soon. I was also a "second shooter" at a wedding on Saturday and have been working with those (all 160 shots) trying to narrow it down to 30-40 for show.
