Hello,

When I do a search for my webpage "Fearon-Wood Photography", my homepage http://www.fearonwoodphoto.com/ should come up and does 80% of the time but once in awhile I get this message:

Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Reference #7.7a7d740.1242191769.0

I am trying to drum up more business and I know that this glitch would not impress new clients since they would immediately assume I don't have a webpage or am disorganized.

Please let me know what is going on here so this will be reliable.

Thank you.

Hi Anne,

We're so sorry to hear about your viewing issues. If you recently
updated MacOSX 10.5.6 and use Safari, we have noticed that there may be
problems such as you're experiencing. For now, we suggest using Firefox
instead as a temporary workaround. It appears that Apple may have broken
something in their latest update as these errors are new and random for
the people that updated.

You can get Firefox here:
http://getfirefox.com

It's not only happening on SmugMug, but also on other sites. It's an
Apple issue that you can see here:

Oh and our CEO just blogged about this:

Let us know if that helps for the time being. Thank you for your
understanding and we apologize again for the temporary inconvenience.

Hi Andy,

I took your suggestions and loaded Firefox which works well, but now I have another problem: all my pull-down menus in smugmug are gone and it just looks like a visitor view. So now I can't add new photos, customize my settings, use my tools, themes, homepage view, hide photos, etc.

I still have a fair amount of tweaking to do and I am very frustrated because I am supposed to get this webpage cleaned up for an application to a stock photo agency today.

Please help, thanks.

Safari Bug is fixed, try Safari :D
Your firefox, you seem to be blocking images from 3rd parties, it's a preference setting.

Hi Andy,

Thanks for your prompt response but after trying both Safari and Firefox I still can't manage my smugmug page (adding photos, tools, customization, buy, etc.)

Should I call your office?

AnneWe'll help you right here :)

are you sure you're logged in? Let's do this, please go to www.smugmug.com then login. Then click 'your photos' at the top of your page. You should now be here:

http://afearonwood.smugmug.com and you should see the tools buttons at the top of your homepage. Let us know?
