Got a bit cool yesterday afternoon and I managed to persuade a damselfly and a miner bee to pose on my hand.

Fairly steady but when I do shots like this I rest the lens on the same hand so everything shakes in unison :)

absolutely amazing!! everything about these is awesome - closeness (of course!), lighting, detail, clarity - excellent! sorry to be so forward but what gear did you use to get these shots? great job!
