I am posting my photo here for two reasons. First, I really want to see if I can do it! I love looking at the photos of others here at DGrin, and I guess I'm throwing my hat into the circle. :D

Secondly, I would love some feedback on this photo. I took it a few weeks ago in one of thousands of bluebonnet fields here in South Texas. You can't call yourself a parent around here unless you stick your kids in a bug-infested field of flowers every spring and take a few dozen pictures. http://www.digitalgrin.com/images/smilies/ne_nau.gif

I am using a point-and-shoot with manual controls, and anxiously awaiting the day that I can get a DSLR (Nikon D70- OH YEAH!)

The girls are my daughters, born 11 years apart. I want to do photography for a living someday, so any critique is appreciated!

I fixed it! You were too fast :rofl . Leah, change the S for a L in the photo URL, it makes it easier to see. Very touching scene or your daughters. I hope you frame it.

My "copy and paste" isn't working!!! When I click on the yellow "insert image" icon, the box pops up and "paste" won't work as long as the box is open. I am trying to figure out how to get around it.

It would be good to see daughter #1 's eyes, even when she's going for the demure look.

Ok, here is one with both of their eyes showing. Better than the first?
