I've tried several of the options to change things that require some code to be copy and pasted into the CSS box. I've done one at a time so there's not more than one in there, but none of them make the change. With a few I could just use HTML instead in another box, mainly in the Custom Header box.
I want to remove the "Donna L. Watkins' Home" from the Home Page since I've made a custom header that already has my name in it. I cut and paste, save it and nothing changes. What am I doing wrong? Everything else I did from the detailed wonderful instructions has worked.
I'm using Mac Firefox 3.0.10.

You don't say what you've tried. If you haven't already done this, follow the instructions for # 23 in the customization FAQ at http://www.smugmug.com/help/customize-faq.
If you have tried this and it failed, please tell us what happened.

I actually found another place with the option to remove that and it worked that way. Today I did a couple of things in the CSS box and they did work. So I don't know why nothing was working when I tried before. Maybe that feature just wasn't functioning at that time. Anyway, glad to have gotten it done.
Thank you all for trying to help :-)
