In May 2005, on my way to Smugmug Yosemite Shootout, I drove up from LA on hwy 101/hwy 1 and made a few stops.
One of the first stops was the Historic Santa Ines Mission, an important link in a famous 200 mile California Mission Chain.
Located next to a nice cozy little Danish town Solvang (pictures are coming) the mission is still functioning:
