Is there a way to set the style of individual galleries?

I changed one of my galleries in my Events category to Journal, and now all the galleries in that category - no, wait - every gallery in every category is in Journal style.

Is there a way to set up individual galleries in a style, and that gallery only?

Go to customize gallery for that gallery and change the style from "view controlled" to what you want. That will lock that gallery to that style, remove the style picker from that gallery and not affect any other galleries.

What you are seeing is that you just changed the default style for your own computer so any gallery that is not locked to a style will show in the last style you picked. Set it back to Smugmug and they will all go back to Smugmug, but that is only on your computer. Each browser remembers the last style that user chose.

Once you give the Viewer control of how your galleries look, they can change them to whatever they like. If you go into Customize gallery and say no to "Viewer Control", then set the gallery to what you want it to be then you will only see that.

What you did was at the top of the gallery you used that to change the gallery look. Well you didn't actually change the gallery format you just changed how it looked on your screen. That's view control, and if you don't want them to be able to do that, then you would need to un check it.
