As soon as a gallery is password protected, the Map This option disappears from the gallery display screen. Removing the password causes it to reappear. I want anyone who's allowed to view the gallery to be able to use mapping, including me!

It's not Smugmug but Google requirements that doesn't allow the map to work with passworded or unlisted galleries.

OK, understood. It's not Smugmug's fault. It's just lame, and it makes the mapping feature useless for most of my future galleries.
