How far off is my Histogram?

After going through Scott's post here (http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=121623) and reading through the associated links I decided to check how far off my camera's histograms were.

The other day we went shooting at a local arboretum and I took some shots where I could not clearly see the LCD due to the angle of the sun. Result, blown highlights. But it gave me a chance to test.:clap

Below are shots of the LCD on the left and screen shots on the right. No PP was done on the RAW file.
Needless to say I was impressed with how close they were (at least in then RGB channels) as I expected more variance.

This one surprised me as I'd expected LR to show less blowouts than the cam did.

I was wondering if you had your camera's color space set to Adobe RGB or sRGB?

By using some EC - exposure compenstation you could bring that histogram right on the money.

Are you asking if your metering is faulty on your camera?
Or if you are metering correctly?

Asking no questions, just posting a FWIW regarding camera histogram accuracy.
Bad thread title. I tried to change it but no go.

Yup, EC would have been great but I couldn't see the LCD before I shot.
Then again, I was full manual.:D
