After going through Scott's post here (http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=121623) and reading through the associated links I decided to check how far off my camera's histograms were.
The other day we went shooting at a local arboretum and I took some shots where I could not clearly see the LCD due to the angle of the sun. Result, blown highlights. But it gave me a chance to test.:clap
Below are shots of the LCD on the left and screen shots on the right. No PP was done on the RAW file.
Needless to say I was impressed with how close they were (at least in then RGB channels) as I expected more variance.
