So I went huntin
this one for Dee, Pelican & Gull together :D

I've only done that a few hundred times myself. :rofl I loved the seal shots (they don't have wings to cut off you know:D ).

Looks like you had a great day Ben. I enjoyed your series. We are 13 miles inland and a pelican was sitting on my neighbors roof once day! Poor thing looked lost, so we called the a.services. to take him back to the beach.
good thing you had those seals to make up for clipping his wing :D :rofl

:huh You cut off that poor pelican's wing :rolleyes What a rookie. :lol As Harry points out, most of us have hundreds (if not more) shots of birds with less than 2 wings....LOL Between these and bird butt shots, I could fill a 100gb drive :dunno

Love that one myself, boy did I get excited when I saw them, almost fell off the pier into the water :D. I had a couple shots which showed him with a fish in his mouth, but alas I blew the focus :cry, Ah well next time :thumb

Yep you bet I'll be back the Pelican are locals and I think the seals are too :dunno
They were both shot over at Fisherman's Village (everyone got one :D) in Marina Del Rey

Maybe I'm just being childish but I was so excited to see them in the wild like that!! :wow :D. So childish in fact that I was going jump in and try and swim with em, but then my age (read maturity) kicked in :rofl
