Remove Title when in Catagory View

Hi,

I have moved to using Catagories and Sub-catagories on my site.
As I have some Galleries now in Sub-catagories and some Galleries directly in Catagories, is there a way of removing the 'Events Galleries' text here:

http://paul-griffiths.net/events (http://pjspics.smugmug.com/events)

This is showing as these galleries are not in a sub-catagory.

I would like it to look like this:

http://paul-griffiths.net/motorsport (http://pjspics.smugmug.com/motorsport)

Sorry to hijack your thread, but I noticed how tight you have your top image, nav bar and slideshow. I've been trying to get mine as tight as that unsuccessfully.

My site is oaktreephotography.net (yea, my slide show isn't working now as I trying to setup feedurl parameters) and I'll be reducing the size of my header graphic...

Any ideas?
