Haven't posted for a while, did some hiking in Tassie ( Most southern Australian state) for a few days and got some of it's wildlife.... C&C welcome

Image #6 This lovely couple spent the night in one of the shelters, they were asleep when I stumbled up on them, they soon opened their eyes though. I don't know what type of owls they are.

Image #10 White/Yellow Salmon I took this one in one of the creeks, I was waiting for the platypus to surface, it eventual did but I didn't get a good shot at it. I think these guys escaped from a nearby Salmon farm.

hard to reply when:
1- you don't number your photos:D
2- don't identify what we are looking at:dunno:dunno......ie: first pic is a 'roo......but which type is it and how many different 'ROO's are there......

They are well done but I still like to know what I am studying:D:D

At least you did put a nice large space between them.

remeber over 99% of Dgrin is americans and have no cluse to the many species on Tassie land....................

You're more likely to get some responses if it looks like you have taken some care with your post in the first place! :D

OK, edited my post, hope all the bugs are taken out and I have numbered my pics. Also put in a quick explanation where Tassie (Tasmania) is.

In a number of the images you are looking down on the animals. As with photographing children and pets etc, the result with small animals is usually better when you shoot them from down at their level. :nod

Absolutely correct, I tried to but they don't stay still for very long.
