I think I must be the only one that is leery of reflections. If they are perfect or too busy, then the photo just doesn't make it.

Just my comment, the photo just looks too busy. I like the strong "arrow" composition of the trees on the right, but my eye just is struggling too much to find the main point of interest, the water is very pretty in the light also, but maybe everything is too green for me?

I love the leaves against the trunk but overall, it's a tough scene to isolate a main point of interest. Reminds me of when I was with some friends in the mountains and I wasn't taking any pictures. When they asked me why, I replied, everythings too busy, I can't "isolate" anything. So I shot some macros instead... :):

I have to agree with Dee on #1. I like the reflection thing going on, but not sure what the subject is. But, #2 is a different story. I like the texture going on in the tree and the shapes created are interesting. #2 works for me.

Thanks for sharing,
Chris

I like #2 in color, with maybe just a touch more contrast to bring the tree out a little brighter. It's a good shot! http://dgrin.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif

Thanks Coldclimb for checking in and commenting.
Good Idea I'll work it up again with more contrast in Mind :thumb
Thanks again for the input.

I too like #2 in color. The color contrasts the tree with the grass nicely. Maybe more contrast in the B&W one would give it more kick.
