Priviet, dear friends!
As some of you may remember, I have a friend - Andrey. Andy has two daughters - Irina and Zhenya.
I have already posted some Irina portarits... Now, it's Zhenya's turn:

I tried to find different backgrounds and different PS postprocessings...
But, as you can see, not even one "smiling photo". Maybe next time....
Waiting for your comments and critique...

Shes to pretty not to smile! The one i like most is probably #2 where she is atleast attempting a smile. It just seems to take some of the life out of it when she is so down looking!
And i am saying this in the most kosher way possible...but did you do some photo editing to remove any obviousness that she isnt wearing a bra? Im trying to say this without sounding totally sexist!! but i dont think its working! Well my point i am trying to get at is that i think it actually makes her look older than she probably is by not wearing one. (my apologies if this is offensive at all!)

Yeah my first response upon seeing these was "Does she smile?" A smile would add some much needed life to her face, and make these pictures a LOT better, I think.

I miss your usual close crop here. I like the expression you caught in #2 and #4. I also like the setting in #5 (pose is a bit rigid); makes me wonder what she is looking at. #5 probably wouldn't work on its own, but with her somber mood, I think it fits nicely.
Thanks for sharing,

Yuri, this one's easily my favorite.

I think she looks better in color. I can't explain why. Perhaps it's the rosiness in her cheeks that gives her face some depth?
For my taste, #4 is lovely but too grey. I very much like the softness you have over her face in #1.

I agree, #3 if my favorite as well. I think the colors of her face and clothes are complimentary with the background colors. The lighting is also very good, sweet natural light, gotta love it.

Hello Yuri. I must admit I also like #3 - probably the composition. As others have said a pity she doesn't smile (maybe the university is a bit tough at the moment). It's interesting that she does not have her father's blue eyes.
