not able to view any images in this folder. http://moorefoto.smugmug.com/gallery/1886235_BEQTL
On another machine, once, I also got the error of "photo not found" on 4 different images in the above gallery.
W2k and IE6. Please don't TELL me to try FF. If it can't work with what most are still running, that's an issue.
Also noted that dgrin was doggin' a bit when I came in to report this.
Thanks...

Came right up for me in FF3, IE 8 and IE7. Could be your ISP? I'm on cable and there are nights when everyone in the neighborhood gets on their machines, I grind to a halt. Just a thought. Paul

Thanks for confirming this Paul... Guess it could be on my end. Also on cable and could be an issue in my area. I'll check back on this later and see if anything changes.
Thanks...

Would you mind running a line quality test for us? You go here:
http://www.dslreports.com/linequality
Sign up and run the test. Registration there is free. After you run the test, copy the link to the results for us.
The site is screaming fast here (and I'm on EVDO now..)

I got a file not found for two of the photos. As a trial member this does not bode well. Hmmmmmm.
But then it's possible that it's Comcast which seems to have arthritic slow-downs like I do too. I'll do the test too form my own info. Thanks for the idea.

Well, I also got this message from others I know and this is why I'm reporting this. All I can say is that if the GEEKS @ SM can't also support the older browsers, this does not bode well for the PAYING MEMBERS. I have customer that are not geeks and don't have the biggest, badest and best. If they can't view their PICs, well... I'll have to find another site to host my PICs that is more enduser friendly.
Andy... here's the report URL: http://www.dslreports.com/linequality/nil/2514537
BTW, I just had my DW goto the link in the OP and she is NOT seeing any PICs in the album (http://moorefoto.smugmug.com/gallery/1886235_BEQTL#95444102_HpAp9). (XP Pro & IE7) She's also seeing an "Errors on the Page" and I have no special HTML code on the page.
Come on... I'm telling you that this is NOT a problem on my end, there are 7 images in the album and I can see none of them. grrrrrrr...
I'm going thru all my albums now and I'll report if I find others with issues.

FWIW, I have checked out your linked gallery in IE7, Safari & FireFox. It looks identical in each browser.
This is what I see.

How are you uploading to Smugmug, are you using on of the different plug-in applications / a stand alone application or one of the other tools available under the "add photos" link in your gallery?

Thanks for showing the view. Good to see what others are seeing.
It does not matter how they were UL'd. They've been on the site since 2006 and this is a problem with SM. There are 7 images in the gallery.

Seymore, Your Line Quality test shows some major loss in the area nearer to the SmugMug end. That might be part of it.
I also use Comcast and see this same type of thing on a regular irregular basis. :scratch It is a pain.

OK, thanks Doc. Guess there is not much I can do about this.(?)
But what about the loss of images in the gallery? Can you see 7 images from your POV?

All I can say is that if the GEEKS @ SM can't also support the older browsers,
We test on, and fully support IE6, IE7, IE8), Firefox and Safari. We test on and Support these browsers on Win XP, and Win Vista, and Mac OS X

Yup. Email our heroes and we'll handle it from the Desk, thanks. Put ATTN: Seb in the subject line.

Things are slow here too, in Philly, PA. Using FF and IE (latest versions) on a PC running XP.

Andy... got an explaniation from Sebastian... Thanks for passing this on to him. He explained what occured that made the images in this album unrecoverable. I'll see what I can do to recover these from my end.
Thanks again Andy...
