Aircraft and people were plenty at the airshow today... (Saturday - 060405)

Where to start? Well, since 911, security has been the tightest I've EVER seen...

But these guys weren't shy... They actually wanted to pose for this shot!

While we waited for the T-Birds (2-3pm), there was a B25 flying...

Then a P51 and F15 flew in formation...

@ 2pm, (it was really windy, and getting quite cold at this point...) the ThunderBirds fired up...

What these boys can do will make you wonder if they're really sane...

Sometimes they were hard to see against the back drop... But, what a back drop!!!

I've been going to military and commercial airshows since I can remember. Traveling with my military family, it was a way of life... and a right of passage...

The B25 shots are just supper nice. Maybe a try some curves to lighten up the whites and improve contrast in the shot in the air...

You're quite welcome Andy. Had a blast, and will miss this location. (moving soon) But having all the aircraft and testosterone running with all these people... you could just feel it. It was ozzin' from the aircraft as they flew by/over. :wink

Thanks Rutt... I have yet to "perfect" my ability to make all the corrections that are needed, but some changes were made on most of the aircraft shots.

It was quite difficult with the conditions. Most of the day it was quite overcast, with patches of blue sky... but nothing was ever consistent. Such is the weather in Colorado.

Yea it was. Something I'd never seen before. And they must have made 1/2 a dozen passes. It was quite the history lesson...

Glad you liked them Phil. It had been some time for me also, but the DW was willing to join me... So, we went. It took us over 90min from the time we hit traffic till we got to the flight line. I forgot how many people show up for these...
