I ran across an article about the lawsuits stemming from the famous Hope (http://www.socialsignal.com/system/files/u4/obama_hope.jpg)poster from the Obama campain. I didn't see that anyone posted this link here yet, and appologize if it's already here somewhere.

I think this is very important for photographers and artists (and I'm sure there are lots of both here, of course there are photographers). The outcome of the AP's lawsuit will set precedent either way, IMO.

that article is from February. it and other references to this case have been discussed already.
