Comment: (a double entendre) I am NOT going there!

very dangerous IMO, just a walk in the park to some foolhardy idiots, uh, folks.
Hey, was that you???

Looking at the picture makes my stomach tense up as though I were standing at the top. :yikes Looks -- and feels -- dangerous to me. :clap

:agree Very well done. Somehow the picture is able to capture the sense of height and vertigo. Nice!

Definitely dangerous enough for the contest. I'm not sure how I'd improve it as a photograph, but I do think it has room for improvement, somehow. It does leave me thinking of dropping straight down though. http://dgrin.com/images/smilies/icon10.gif It's rather obvious that something must be wired differently in my brain..... http://dgrin.com/images/smilies/yelrotflmao.gif

Hey Bear,
I like the first version better because it is from my perspective. I could be the one standing in those sneakers. Shudder. :yikes I still feel vertigo looking at the second one, but the reaction is delayed.

Yes Virginia, I thought that too. However, in the flipped version, the subject ("The Feet") seems more off balance.
Thanks coldclimb for the suggestion to do something with the photo. I'm not sure if that is what you meant but now that I've done it I'm not sure which I like best.

Now you all have me thinking and that can be dangerous. When I rotate the feet to the right I still feel attached and the off balance feeling is maintained.

Rotating them to the left doesn't do anything for me.

Now I really don't know which I like best. Maybe I should jump. :D
Bear
PS. Are we allowed to rotate a photo for the contest?

The rotated version makes it seem like you're being held over the drop. http://dgrin.com/images/smilies/icon10.gif Interesting, but I think the original works better for dangerous. Something makes me like the rotation with the feet on the left though....

Definitely made me cringe. Great danger shot.
The only thing that might enhance it is lining one foot up more forward rather than sideways - like it's about to walk off. Maybe try to get a feeling of taking a step? :scratch
