One of my favorite cars.... a 1929 L-29 Cord

Again I have to say, I am sooooooooo not into cars,
but every now and then one really takes my eye,
and this is one of those occassions :nod

Very stylish.... yup I could see many a bride on her way to her wedding in that car.
Now I'd like to see that one parked in my garage I like it so much :clap
I love the second shot :thumb .... Skippy :D

That shot is just killer. The contrast between old and modern. The colors of the leaves. The use of foreground.

I'm still thinking about the hawks and being camera-less :cry :cry :cry

Thanks! I'm glad we took the photo early on during the day. It started to rain later and the whitewalls became blackwalls with the dirt and grime.

I entered 3 photos from that shoot at a local contest. They entered me in group shots and I think I took home a 2nd place. Should have done a bigger print of the L-29 and entered it by itself.

Thanks MK! Yeah... I'm still crying over the 8 hawks too....

Ditto to merc's comment--that old/modern shot is outstanding!:thumb :thumb :thumb Can definitely see it in large print on a wall--like in that library in your first shot!:wink

Thanks for sharing--this was fun!

Thank you for the comments! I should order a big print of it, right now all I have is a 5x7 sitting by my computer to daydream at.

Great shots! I've always loved that era in automibile manufactureing. #1 could have come straight from 1929 if the newer cars weren't visible in the left background. #2 is definitely the best:thumb .
