Couple night shots

wife and i sat out and had some beers last night. I had the camera out and figured I would take a few night shots of the "accent" lighting I put up :rofl

nothing fancy.. but i liked em'

i was trying to get the bolt focused.. shot with WB on incandesant

couple of the solar lights i drilled holes for.. iffy at best - was not focused very well

and our cheap beer of choice - main focus was on the new hurricane candle i bought earlier.

so far i love this lens.. :clap

I like your eye.. Nice angles. In low light like this there will always be a DOF issue which can be good and bad. Have you considered or tried an HDR in this type of environment?

thanks for the reply.. and I have just now started doing some homework on HDR. I hope to get better with that 1.8 as the sharpness is much improved over the 18-70 that i used with the other 3. so far it's the best 140 bux i have spent.. :rofl
