I like it.

I really like the lighting in this shot. It reminds me of the narrow sightedness of the situation.

I like the shot. Not as much as your last entry (which I loved), but it is a very good photograph that meets the challenge theme. :thumb

Thanks for the comments. I'm looking for something with more impact to improve on this one. Here's another version...lowered the angle a bit.

This one I like better because the models eyes look like he's drunk and not evil like the first pic. Just my personal opinion. This would make a good ad campaign for drinking and driving. Erich, I really like the idea and message. I love the B&W.

Now I'll ask you to change everything.

Picture a glass table with 5-10 wet glass rings on it. A half empty bottle
of booze, and a hand (just a hand and arm,no face) reaching for the keys.
B&W is a must, camera pointing up from underneath.

I like the idea of no face, because the drunk driver could be anyone.

Once again, I like this idea for the challenge.

dave.

PS, I like the 2nd one better.

Dave,

I had a similar thought as you suggest here (that is, showing the arm and hand only but coming in from outside the frame). I'm thinking taking the shot from overhead though.... How do you mean from underneath?

Another alternative would be showing the whole individual but since the camera would be looking down you wouldn't see his/her face...just an outline.

Thanks!

Thanks! I like the view in the second one as well...I was trying to more closely mimic the drunk's perspective with the camera.

Thanks! I was trying to get a "fade-to-black" effect as the eyes draw closer to the person.

I think I like the second one, and it DOES strike a dangerous chord. I'd enter it for sure!
