I have always wondered how left handed people feel taking pics with a camera that seems to be made for right handed people? Every camera I've ever seen has the shutter button on the right. Just curious but mostly bored:rofl

Over the years, I've gotten used to using the right hand for a lot of stuff (mouse, scissors, etc. etc.) so using the right hand for the shutter isn't really an issue anymore.
I am left eye dominant though, so that's sometimes an issue (better now than in the manual winder film days - some cameras you had to extend the winder a bit to turn it on, and it would poke you in the eye :wxwax )

Since I use both hands on a camera, I haven't ever noticed that it felt like a camera was made for right handed people. What I just recently noticed was there are a few sling bags that are made just for the right hand side.
While my wife has a thing for shoes, I have a thing for bags, sports bags, camera bags, all kinds of bags. So when I read a recent thread about someone buying a sling bag for carrying extras at an upcoming photo shoot, I thought, PERFECT! Just what I need.
So it's not like I have a shortage in the house of camera bags, just not a sling bag. To my astonishment, the ones I saw were designed to be over the left shoulder on the right side, but didn't work well the other way.
Oh well, I guess I'll just get used to it, along with my right handed monopod ...

Yea. I feel your pain. Most things are made for people NOT in their "right mind". :D But personally... I've just gotten used to the right handed world. It really helps being somewhat ambidexious.
I must admit that there is still something that bugs me, 40+ years later. I have yet to use a left handed butter knife. Ya know... the formal butter knife? Grrrrrrrrr!!! :wxwax
