Another Newbe Saying Hi

I just recently got my first decent DSLS equipment:

Canon EOS 50D with EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM and EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM lenses. I have been admiring other's photos and I'm looking forward to growing my skills enough to shoot some memorable shots when I'm out exploring the back country of Arizona.

Here are a few of my early attempts with the new equipment, input and suggestions for improvement always welcome.
