Birthday Portraits - CC Desired

My oldest son is turning 6 tomorrow, so we went out to the Art Museum here to take some portraits... I couldn't keep the youngest out of the pictures for long so he got some quality time as well. I'm looking for constructive criticism to help me continue growing... Thank you, in advance, for your comments.

Now, that's a perfect "backdrop" for a 6th birthday :D

The other ones look a bit blown to me & I wish I would see the outside edges of the sculpture in the 1st pic and you might also want to watch your white balance a bit, in some of the pics the skin looks very red / yellow.

And :rofl as much as I love reflections in the eyes, the last pic looks a bit spooky to me. I think it would have been better, were his whole face a tad brighter, but having just the reflection be bright like that - I don't know ... :dunno :wink

The 6 sculpture lives in a garden of all the numbers (0-9)... the reason I cut off the edges where I did is because of the neighboring numbers that were brightly colored on their own. I thought it would be too distracting to have pieces of the other numbers peeking in. :dunno

On the blown-ness... I'm still trying to manage getting more evenly lit photos, any tips?

Your reaction to the close-up on the eyes photo is the same one my wife had... I'll see if I can tinker with the lighting a bit in PS.
