I am running seperate catalogues in lightroom based on year picture was taken.

Should be a simple question, how do I choose which Cat is my default?

Preferences>General. You can choose to use the most recent (default), prompt for the catalog, or specify a specific one.

Thank you. Tough finding time to do simple things like find this out for myself. When I do have the desktop for photo editing I do just that. Most of the time wife has the desktop and I have a laptop which just does not hack it for photo editing.
