Last Saturday's (apr 4)opening day was cloudless, but a couple nights last week, I got to shoot in some nice, overcast skies. :D D300, 300 2.8, 1.4TC
1. I really like this one

You've captured the essence of youth soccer :wink I like the tunnel shot - a typical ritual that often gets missed. Also, it looks like you were midfield for the shot of the keeper; or is it a really small field?
cheers,
C.

These are great. I love the expressions. My favorite is #5-there's something about a ponytail flying that I can't resist.

I love the tongues sticking out of the mouths. Can't wait till my kids start concentrating enough to do that :)

Gotta love those overcast days. One thing we get a lot of here in Oregon. This is a great series. Nice rich colors but not overdone - as I have done lately :D. Definitely wallet-opening worthy for the parent crowd. As a parent, I would be happy to buy any of these.
Love the sharpness of the 300 f/2.8 with the TC. I'm drooling for that setup now. How do you shoot this? Are you on a monopod?

Thanks, Colleen. I started shooting the tunnel this season. The keeper shot was from midfield. I shoot about 75% from the corner, and the rest around midfield.

Thanks, Susan. How about two ponytails flying;
