Managed to chase this bee around at work, not as good as soom i have seen on here but still new to photography

Not sure if i did the right thing i had it on aperture -Priority and had the EV up fully to the - so i could turn the shutter speed up, the first one i have just lightened a bit second is straight from the camera

i took some pictures of these bees at my house. those are nice, i like you shots.

I dunno Gary, I've seen a few of your macro shots and you have nothing to worry about :wink Targets like this are tough work and take time to get used to. Never easy thats for sure. They move fast Gary, so often flash is needed. I know allot don't like flashed shots, but when it comes to speed and stopping that action for sharp shots, sometimes its the only option. Unless the sun is hitting the spot.

I'm in with the these are good and not easy to capture at all.
Of course it's not supposed to be easy :D

Keep up the good work bees are very very hard to shoot they move to much and are pretty fast!!!!!!!!!!:thumb

This isn't very good, yours are way better. but I saw all these bees outside so i tried to get in close. my digital is an old nikon coolpix so it is a little hard to get real close.
What do you think of it? should i crop it down?:dunno
