Interesting Khaos, but kinda bland. I think maybe pull back get the eye as well, or the other way much closer in maybe just a couple of those wrinkles something like that maybe :dunno

But ya see my sig below so :D don't go by me :wink

Another interesting shot. The shot doesn't work for me mainly because the subject, an elephant's mouth ain't all that interesting to me. Its basically a dark area with no details to hold my interest.

Thanks for the comments.

I like it because its different. You know it's an elephants mouth even if I leave out the tusk. It's wrinkly, ugly, with strangly hair, and yet to me, it's still beautiful.

It's a personal thing. I'm experimenting with different views of animals we always see certain ways in pictures.

And yes, that means not showing those darn eyes all the time. :huh Call me the indie animal photgrapher who strays occassionaly from those mainstream shots.:D

Elephants are my favorite animal, but I agree it's missing something--- if you had the eyes in it too that might be just a tad better :)

I think you have a good idea with your series of shots concentrating on parts of the animals' bodies. I really liked the earlier bear series. I'm looking forward to seeing more shots in the same vein.

Keep them coming.
