Was hired to shoot some portraits of a girl who is about to celebrate a big birthday. Parents wanted to some shots taken out doors at their home. Wind was blowing waaaaay too much. We took it indoors, and after spending ten minutes surveying the interior I chose several spots that had good natural light, and paired it with a couple of off camera speedites, strobist style....these are proofs and most will will be corrected upon selection by the client:

Well, I love :lust the last one, it has a sweet offbeatness. (But I doubt the girl will choose it; youth likes the ruts in life too much. :dunno)

I really like B&W one!! :thumb
#5, good shot, but her arms and legs are different color, i don't know if that's something that can be fixed?
Overall good shots, but i wish girl would smile more.

I really, REALLY like the last photo - great eye!! :thumb :bow This portrait is so dynamic, beautiful setting, sort of an anti-portrait. I can't tell you how much I like it.
The B&W portrait is really nice too.
The facial features (mainly the eyes) in #1, #2, and #3 aren't crisp enough IMO.
I like #5, but my eye is pulled away from the subject and drawn to the defect on the wall in the background. And I'd prefer a tighter crop to remove the window on the right.
Nice work - very impressed with your composition.
